The objective of this course is to provide students with in-depth understanding and complex reasoning skills about communications services and network applications, as well as the allocation of network resources to support them.
Students shall acquire consolidated knowledge in the area of the distribution of different types of content over computer networks, including multimedia. Further, the course covers how networks can support the delivery requirements of different types of content. In this context, net neutrality will also be introduced and discussed.
